Sarchu is an ideal stopover, while driving from Manali to Leh. This oasis is located about 220 kms away from Manali, at an altitude of 4250 mts above the sea level.
Mulkila Adventure camp is the perfect accommodation to stay for a night or two. Camp has about 40 tented cottages stitched out of Canvas, which are wind & water proof. Tents have attached wash room with western toilets & wash basin. Water will be provided in buckets. Tents are with twin beds, centre table, lamp & a pair of chairs. Electricity back up is available during the night. Thought the cot inside the tent is provided with thick mattress, pillow, bed sheet & a blanket, nights could be very cold and be prepared for the same.
Camp has separate dining tent with limited variety of food. Generally lunches are packed. Camp is equipped with emergency Oxygen Cylinders & first aid kit. In case of any high altitude sickness, nearest army medical centre is just 10 mins. drive away from the camp.
