 DAY 1:
Day 1: Meet & greet at Haridwar Railway station & Transfer to Rishikesh
(approx. 25kms) Overnight stay at Rishikesh in hotel.
DAY 2:
Early departure from Rishikesh. Transfer to Rudraprayag (Approx. 150kms).
Overnight at Rudraprayag in hotel / tent. (610mts).
DAY 3:
Departure to Govindghat (approx. 132km) and trek to Ghangaria (approx 14km )
This is the point where the trek to the Valley of Flowers begins. We cross the
river Alaknanda and the for the next 14 km the trail to Govind Dham (Ghangaria)
along the Bhyundar Ganga takes you through amazing vistas with numerous
waterfalls, wild flowers and forests . The last stretch is a steep ascent to
Ghangaria .
Dinner and over night at the Camp in Gangaria (3048mts).
DAY 4:
Trek to Valley of Flowers (altitude approx. 3658 mts) and return to Ghangaria for the night ( approx 10kms ).Overnight in tents.
DAY 5:
:Spend this day at Leisure at the camp or trek to lake Hemkund
( altitude approx 4329 meters) return to the camp for the night.( approx 12 kms)
DAY 6:
Trek back to Govindghat ( approx 14 kms ) and return to Rudraprayag
(approx 132kms ). Overnight in hotel
DAY 7:
After an early breakfast proceed to Rishikesh
(Approx.150km/ 06hrs drive)
in time to board the evening/night train to New Delhi.

| EXTENSION TO BADRINATH |
Day 06:
Trek back to Govindghat and drive on to Badrinath 25kms Altitude 3133 meters.
Overnight at Badrinath.
Day 07:
After Darshan proceed to Rudraprayag 160kms. Overnight in hotel.
Day 08:
After an early breakfast proceed to Rishikesh ( Approx.150km/ 06hrs drive)
in time to board the evening/night train to New Delhi.
Extension cost : Rs.4400 per person
This would include – accommodation at Badrinath for one night with all meals & vehicle for one extra day.
Note: Due to cloud burst, normal life in Leh has come to halt.
Hence, tourists can not travel. |
