DAY 01: ARRIVE LEH
On arrival at Leh airport (about 3500m / 11565 feet above sea level), meet by our representative and transfer to hotel. Half day free for acclimatization. Evening you visit Shanti Stupa & walk around local market. Have lunch & dinner at the hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.

DAY 02: LEH - ALCHI - LEH
Drive is about 70 kms / one way

After breakfast, carry packed lunch for the day. Drive to Alchi. Visit 1000 year old Alchi monastery, the only Gompa in Ladakh region on flat ground. Thereafter proceed to Likir Monastery to visit the splendid three storeys Dharma Wheel Gompa. Here you'll be impressed with the sight of the massive Buddha statues. Later to Indus & Zanskar River Sangam, drive along the Indus river visiting, Pathar Sahib Gurdwara and Magnetic Hill (where the cars defy gravity), Basgo Palace (by hiking only) and further on to Leh Hall of Fame (Kargil War memorabilia). Have dinner at the hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.

DAY 03: LEH - KHARDUNG LA - NUBRA VALLEY
Drive is about 120 kms / 5 hrs - one way

Highlight – Enjoy the freezing temperature at Khardung La. Ensure you carry heavy winter cloths.

After early breakfast, carry packed lunch. Drive pass Khardungla - World's the highest motor able road at 18832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla the snowcapped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records. Drive through the valley which is extremely beautiful for photography.

Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colourful trees in this region. Later reach your camp & visit Sand Dunes. Generally you will get to see Double humped Bactrian camels. Enjoy time at the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village. Have dinner at the camp. Stay overnight in Nubra.

DAY 04: NUBRA VALLEY - DISKIT - LEH
After Breakfast proceed to Diskit with packed lunch. Visit Diskit monastery which is 515 years old & situated on a hill top, giving panoramic view of the valley. This is known for Giant Buddha Statue. Later walk around the town which has a small village market. Proceed for the tour of Samsthaling, Panamik, Yaraptso Lake along with the splendid view of the Karakoram Himalayan Range.

Samsthaling is situated on the mountainside just above Sumur. This was the route taken by the trade caravans. Panamik, the last village on this circuit, was at that time a busy trade center & the last major settlement before the caravans Proceed back to Leh. Later cross Khardungla Pass once again and reach Leh. Have dinner at the hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.


DAY 05: LEH - PANGONG LAKE
Drive is about 155 kms / 5 hrs - one way
Highlight - It is the highest land locked lake

After an early breakfast leave for Pangong Lake with packed lunch. Drive is through Changla pass (5,486 Mtrs). Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m) above sea level. A long narrow basin of inland water body is hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists, though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and the scenery is unforgettable. Have dinner at the camp. Stay overnight in Nubra.

DAY 6: PANGONG LAKE - LEH
Drive back to Leh in the same route with packed lunch. Evening spend time at leisure for shopping in Leh market. Have dinner at the hotel. Stay overnight in Leh.
