Crimson Holidays organised my trip to Kashmir very very well. The
order of places that they had suggested kept our excitement increasing
linearly. The whole trip from pickup to airport drop at Srinagar was
hassle free. Their representative in Srinagar was in constant touch
with us throughout the trip. Me and my family enjoyed the trip and

 DAY 1 SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
On arrival at Srinagar Airport meet our executive at the airport & transfer by car to Pahalgam. The distance of 96 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs.
This mountain town is located at the convergence of the Lidder river and the Sheshnag Lake. En route visit Saffaron fields and Awantipura Temple ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Avantivarman). On reaching early you can visit to on ponies (on extra cost), the huge meadows surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine present a beautiful spectacle. Meals and over night at Hotel
DAY 2 PAHALGAM
After breakfast, visit to Aru by local car (on extra cost) a village 11 km from Pahlgam. From here a famous trek leads to Kolohoi glaciers. Have a glimpse of Kolohoi Peak. Afternoon, visit to Chandanwari ( 16 km from Pahalgam), serves as the starting point of the Amarnath yatra. (on extra cost). Meals & Overnight at Hotel.
 DAY 3 PAHALGAM - GULMARG
After early breakfast, drive to Gulmarg which takes 4 ˝ hrs to reach. This green carpeted, cup shaped meadow offers a pleasant view to tourists and perfect level of slopes to the golfers. You can take a Cable Car ride (on extra cost) to enjoy the breath taking view of snow capped mountains. Place is also known for skiing & snow boarding. Meals & overnight at Hotel.
DAY 4 GULMARG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast drive to the Srinagar city. Check in at hotel / houseboat. In the afternoon visit to famous Shankaracharya Temple & Mughal Gardens. Meals & Overnight at Hotel.
 DAY 5 SRINAGAR – SONMARG - SRINAGAR
After early breakfast, you leave for full day trip to Sonmarg. The drive to this beautiful meadow is also as spectacular as the place itself. Driving through the Sindhu valley, you get to see another aspect of Kashmir. Encircled by snow-covered mountains, Sonamarg is a place of enchanting beauty, surrounded by dense forests, full of sycamore and alpine flowers, silver birch, fir and pine, the meadow presents a captivating sight., Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier a major attraction during summer months. Return back to Srinagar in evening. Meals and overnight at Hotel.
DAY 6 Departure
After early breakfast, visit to floating gardens in famous Dal Lake by Shikara and then drive to airport for your onward journey. |
