STAY AT KANHA, MADHYA PRADESH - The Baagh – A Forest Retreat
Location: The Baagh Resort at Kanha is adjacent to Kanha National Park and is accessible through the Mukki Gate of the park, just 5 kms away. It is located in the Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. The resort ranges over an area of 20 acres amidst Sal, Mahua, and Saja trees, with breathtaking views of the valley. Nearby tribal villages and hills encircle the beautiful and tranquil grounds.

When to visit: The park is open from – October through June. While temperatures rise during May and June, it is an excellent time for animal sightings due to fewer water sources and a decline in visitors. The park is closed during monsoon season from July to Mid October. However, the resort is open all year and makes a lovely and restful retreat.

During open season, park hours are as follows:
• 15 November to 15 February - Sunrise to 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm to Sunset
• 16 February to 30 April - Sunrise to 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm to Sunset
