DAY 01: LEH
On arrival at Leh airport, placard pick up & transfer to hotel. Welcome tea / coffee & rest till lunch hour to acclimatize. Afternoon visit to Leh market , Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
DAY 02: Leh – KHARDUNG LA PASS – NUBRA VALLEY (about 120 km)
After breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung la Pass, the road in this Pass is one of the world’s highest motorable road at 18,380 ft. Afternoon arrive Deskit. Explore Deskit, & Hunder villages, experience camel safari in sand dunes between Deskit & Hunder. Overnight at camp/guest house.
DAY 03: NUBRA VALLEY TO LEH
After breakfast, visit Deskit Monastery. Drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
DAY 04: LEH – PANGONG LAKE (about 160 km)
After early breakfast & leave for Pangong Lake. This lake is situated at 14,500 ft. Drive is through Chang la Pass - 17,350 ft. Pangong is the highest salt water lake in the world shared by two countries India & China. Evening enjoy the beauty of the lake, appreciating its changing colour. Overnight at camp near the Pangong lake.
 Day 05: PANGONG LAKE - LEH
After breakfast drive back to Leh, en route visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery, and Shey Palace. Overnight at hotel in Leh.
Day 06: LEH
Morning drop to Leh airport for onward journey. |
